Out of the Ordinary (in Bradford and Leeds) is a public art project, based on public participation, commissioned by Channel 4 and created by Martin Firrell Company Ltd.

When you contribute text and photos to be considered for inclusion in the final artwork (by emailing not-ordinary[at]martinfirrell.com), you are confirming that the text and photos are your own, you are over 18 years of age, you live and/or work in either Leeds or Bradford and you are consenting to us storing these items and your personal data digitally.

If your contribution is included in the finished artwork, you will be asked to sign an agreement, confirming that the text is original to you, the photos are of you and belong to you, and that you give us permission to use them in the artwork and for the artwork to be made public.

We will archive the personal data you provide only insofar as it is necessary to facilitate your participation in the artwork, and to archive the artwork for futurity.

We will store securely on our own servers located in the UK your name, email address and a contact telephone number if you choose to provide that information, together with the text/photo you are contributing.

We will also store digitally the agreement you sign granting us permission to use your contribution. This information is stored indefinitely as part of the artwork's archive.

If you wish to review any personal information held by us, get in touch by emailing us at privacy[at]martinfirrell.com.

It won't be possible to include every contribution in the final artwork. If yours is not included, it doesn't mean we didn't love it. We appreciate every contribution, but there just won't be enough time to include everything. Martin Firrell Company Ltd will be under no obligation to include any contribution and the artists's decision, in consultation with Channel 4, will be final.
